
Library & Study Rooms
The university library houses a large collection of books, journals, and other media, as well as access to a wide selection of on-line databases and learning tools. Campus facilities also offer a number of options for self-study and group study, as well as for practicing clinical skills.

Opening hours (during the academic year):
- Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – midnight*
- Saturday: 9 a.m. – midnight*
- Sunday: 9 a.m. – midnight*
*it does not refer to all reading rooms in the library
Booking group-work rooms (2.05, 2.06, 2.07) and/or individual-work rooms is possible at the Information Desk of the library (first floor) during regular opening hours.
Students are advised to:
- use the wardrobe check room and lockers on the ground floor prior to entering the library upstairs
- refrain from drinking or eating outside the designated area by the snack bar since neither is allowed inside the library area

Electronic library:
The electronic library offers access to thousands of different types of medical information resources to medical students and physicians. It contains: textbooks (ClinicalKey – textbooks and journals from Elsevier), atlases (Acland Video Atlas of Human Anatomy), and other learning materials such as films and images (MEDtube, Draw it to Know – an interactive online resource that teaches medical sciences in a purely kinesthetic way).

Booking group-work rooms (2.05, 2.06, 2.07) and/or individual-work rooms is possible at the Information Desk of the library (first floor) during regular opening hours.
Study rooms designated for students of English-language programs
Apart from the generally available study rooms in the library, students enrolled in English-language programs have the following dedicated study rooms at their disposal:
1) The study room located in the Eskulap dormitory on the ground floor and it is available 24/7, i.e., 24 hours every day of the week. It is administered by Eskulap Dormitory Administration.
2) There are two study rooms located in the Karolek dormitory on the second floor. Available through Karolek dorm Administration.
3) There is also a study room located in the Aspirynka dormitory on the ground floor. Available through Aspirynka dorm Administration.
Regulations to be observed in the facilities
The number of students using a study room may not exceed the number of available seats. Students should not disturb others and must not smoke, eat, or drink while in the room.
Also, students are not allowed to rearrange the furniture or bring in additional chairs; or remove the existing furniture, accessories, and equipment.
Clinical Skills Practice Rooms
There are two clinical skills practice rooms, designed and equipped to simulate real-life family medicine doctor's office, available forstudent self-practice and preparation for OSCE-type exams. The rooms are located in dormitories and have been prepared with the help of student organizations.

SONO Ultrasound practice room
A well equipped ultrasound laboratory is available for workshops and student self-practice in Karolek dorm room 2.23. The SONO room is equipped with 4 high-end USG devices (2 x Siemens Adara Sonoline, Chison Ivis 60, Toshiba Xario) that any student can use to practice their imaging skills. This project was made possible thanks to the efforts of Leczymy z Misją (Treating with a Mission) student voluntary initiative with cooperation with MIRO company and PUMS.
