PUMS Scientists Featured in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists 2024” Ranking
Stanford University, in collaboration with Elsevier and SciTech Strategies, has released the latest edition of its list of the world’s most cited researchers: the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2024. The ranking was published on September 19, 2025.
Researchers from Poznan University of Medical Sciences have been included among this prestigious group of the 2% most cited scientists worldwide.
The first category, providing ranking of most cited authors in the scope of their career-long impact, includes professors: Wanda Baer-Dubowska, Franciszek Główka, Tomasz Karpiński, Tomasz Kotwicki, Andrzej Mackiewicz, Ludwik Malendowicz, Janusz Rybakowski, Piotr Rzymski, Jarosław Walkowiak, the late prof. Zbigniew Pawłowski.
The second category focuses only on the impact of publications in the 2024 calendar year. PUMS authors in this group includes the following scientists and professors: Wanda Baer-Dubowska, Tomasz Karpiński, Piotr Rzymski, Tomasz Kotwicki, Andrzej Mackiewicz, Janusz Rybakowski, Paweł Bogdański, Judyta Cielecka-Piontek, Andrzej Czyrski, Jan Domaradzki, Wojciech Golusiński, Bogna Grygiel-Górniak, Aldona Kasprzak, Violetta Krajka-Kuźniak, Błażej Męczekalski, Tomasz Osmałek, Hanna Piotrowska-Kempisty, and Małgorzata Wierzbicka.
