PUMS Scientists Among Top 2% Most Cited in the World - 2024 Update
Researchers from Stanford University have compiled a 2024 update to their ranking of top 2% most cited scientists in the world using an algorithm based on h-index, work experience, field of study and other factors. We are proud to share that several of our colleagues from PUMS have ranked high enough to be included in this edition.
The first category, providing ranking of most cited authors in the scope of their career-long impact, includes professors: Andrzej Mackiewicz, Jarosław Walkowiak, Wanda Baer-Dubowska; associate professors: Tomasz Karpiński, Piotr Rzymski, Boris W. Kramer; as well as professors emeriti: Janusz Rybakowski and Ludwik Malendowicz. It also includes the late prof. Zbigniew Pawłowski.
The second category focuses only on the impact of publications in the 2023 calendar year. PUMS authors in this group also include scientists: Karpiński, Rzymski, Kramer, and Rybakowski, but also professors: Aldona Kasprzak, Błażej Męczekalski, Paweł Bogdański, Tomasz Kotwicki, Violetta Krajka-Kuźniak, Wojciech Golusiński, Judyta Cielecka-Piontek, Hanna Piotrowska-Kempisty; assoc. professors Bogna Grygiel-Górniak, Maciej Wiznerowicz, Małgorzata Lewandowska, Jan Domaradzki, Andrzej Czyrski, and Jarosław Paluszczak.
