PUMS Scientists Among Top 2% Most Cited in the World
Researchers from Stanford University have compiled an update to their ranking of top 2% most cited scientists in the world using an algorithm based on h-index, work experience, field of study and other factors. We are proud to share that several of our colleagues from PUMS have ranked high enough to be included in this edition.
The first category, providing ranking of most cited authors in the scope of their career-long impact, includes professors Jaroslaw Walkowiak, Karl Heinz Herzig, Zbigniew Leppert, assoc. prof. Bogna Grygiel-Górniak, as well as professors emeriti Janusz Rybakowski and Ludwik Malendowicz. It also includes the late prof. Zbigniew Pawłowski.
The second category focuses only on the impact of publications in the year 2021. PUMS authors in this group also include professors Walkowiak, Herzig, and Leppert, as well as professors Aldona Kasprzak, Błażej Męczekalski, Marek Ruchała, Paweł Bogdański, Wojciech Golusiński, assoc. professors Bogna Grygiel-Górniak, Piotr Rzymski, and Tomasz Karpiński, as well as prof. emeriti Janusz Rybakowski. It also includes the late prof. Janusz Skowronek.
