We are very grateful to PHO3NIX Foundation and Ciech Tri Tour 2020 for donating over 1 000 000 PLN to PUMS pediatric hospital – The Karol Jonscher Clinical Hospital.

Thanks to their virtual campaign promoting physical activity – the Trilsolation Challenge – 1342 triathlon fans have registered over 1 million kilometers of activity in an on-line sports activity tracker app over a period of 8 weeks. The PHO3NIX Foundation pledged to donate 1 PLN per each kilometer for development of our pediatric hospital.

In a public event that took place on September 28, 2020 in Poznan City Hall the ambassador of the foundation, Mr. Sebastian Kulczyk, has presented the check to the director of the hospital, dr. Paweł Daszkiewicz, in the presence of Mayor of Poznan, Mr. Jacek Jaśkowiak.

The event also officially inaugurated a new virtual Ciech Tri Tour triathlon challenge with an ambitious goal of 4.5 million kilometers over the course of two years. Mr. Kulczyk has pledged to donate 1 PLN for each kilometer in this challenge to the pediatric ward of PUMS orthopedic hospital – The Wiktor Dega Clinical Orthopedic Hospital.

PHO3NIX Foundation and Mr. Kulczyk have also generously supported Polish hospitals fighting with COVID-19 and many nursing homes in cities across Poland by donating over 10 million PLN since the beginning of the pandemic.
