Admissions During the Pandemic Period
Due to the current emergency restrictions put in place in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, including schools and testing center closures, as well as extensive travel restrictions and safety precautions, we've decided to make the following adjustments to our current admission process in order to make sure that candidates have the option to apply and follow through with the process regardless of their country of residence:
1) PUMS entrance examination will be available as an on-line examination on multiple dates, including both parts of the evaluation: written quiz and oral examination/interview. The technical requirements and session dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
2) Secondary school and university diplomas can now be submitted as late as August. Applicants are welcome to proceed with their application process and entrance exams without waiting for those final certificates.
3) Applicants for the Advanced MD Program who do not have the option to sit any of the required external standardized medical admission tests: MCAT, UCAT or GAMSAT, may request to have this requirement suspended until the end of year 1 of their studies at PUMS (June 2021).
Further adjustments may also be announced, if the situation will require it. Applicants who have been affected by the pandemic and would like to inquire about individual accommodations are welcome to do so at This email address is being protected from spambots.
