COVID-19 Prevention Notice Regarding China and Italy

In relation to the epidemiological situation in China and Italy, the University has been in regular contact with the State District Sanitary Inspectorate in Poznan. Until up-to-date recommendation is received, we follow the instructions from the attached release by the Chief Sanitary Inspector (as of February 24, 2020).

Persons who have recently returned from China or Italy, especially from Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio regions (even if they did not have contact with the sick, they feel well and healthy) are strongly recommended to avoid social activity for 14 days (stay at home), monitor their medical condition and remain in contact with the Sanitary Inspectorate. If you notice any respiratory disorder, you should report to J. Struś Hospital, Infectious Disease Ward 2 Żelazna Street, tel. +48 61 873 92 95.

Students of PUMS whom the above information concerns, are asked to contact Dean’s Office by e-mail, and the coordinators are requested to be flexible and understanding while awarding credits from the courses to the students from the risk group.

The matter should be treated as urgent and important.
